Sara: Hi, Ben. Are you at the supermarket?
Ben: Yes, I am. I have your list. Milk, eggs, bread, bananas and cheese. Easy!
Sara: Great. Did you get the eggs?
Ben: Yes. The list says „eggs times three”, so I took three boxes. That’s thirty eggs.
Sara: Thirty?! Ben, I wanted three eggs! For one cake!
Ben: Oh. Well… we can make ten cakes.
Sara: Very funny. What about the bread? I want brown bread.
Ben: There’s no brown bread. There’s white bread for one euro twenty, or bread with seeds for four euros fifty.
Sara: Four fifty? That’s too expensive. Take the white bread.
Ben: OK. Next, bananas. Hmm… they’re all green.
Sara: That’s fine. They’ll be yellow on Friday.
Ben: And I’ve got the cheese. Four packs!
Sara: Four? Why four?
Ben: It was „buy one, get one free”. So I bought two and got two free. It’s a bargain!
Sara: Ben, we don’t need four packs of cheese.
Ben: We have thirty eggs. We can make a very big cheese omelette.
Sara: Hmm. Anything else?
Ben: Just one small thing. A bag of crisps.
Sara: A small bag?
Ben: Well… it’s the biggest bag in the shop. It was fifty per cent off!
Sara: Of course it was. OK, go to the checkout.
Cashier: Hello. That’s twenty-seven euros forty, please. Card or cash?
Ben: Card, please. Here you are.
Cashier: Thank you. Would you like a bag? It’s twenty cents.
Ben: Yes, please. Two bags. The crisps are very big.
Sara: Ben, one more question. Did you get the milk?
Ben: The milk? … Oh no. I’ll go back.
Sara: And Ben? Only ONE bottle, please!
