What textbooks and materials are used?
We highly recommend the “Polski Krok po kroku” series.
The textbook gradually introduces beginners to the Polish language step by step. It is written entirely in Polish to immerse learners in the language from the very beginning. Its well-thought-out structure of dialogues and texts, in which characters explain individual words and phrases, along with excellent graphics illustrating texts and exercises, helps students quickly rise to the challenge of using only Polish in class. Grammar issues are introduced exclusively in context, supported by clear, structured tables and a wide variety of exercises, allowing learners to acquire the practical aspects of Polish grammar. Instead of tedious inflection drills, the focus is placed on dialogues and communicative exercises. From the very first chapters, a rich range of vocabulary and vivid thematic summaries help build a solid lexical base and self-confidence — the key to effective communication.
Students quickly start to speak and think in Polish
The textbook includes over 200 minutes of recordings in MP3 format. It is worth mentioning that the language used in the recordings is natural and contemporary, just as spoken by native speakers of Polish. These recordings can also serve as an inspiring resource for teachers of Polish as a foreign language, who may design their own materials based on them.
The textbook is also available in an interactive e-coursebook version.
How do we work?
We offer classes tailored to your preferences: held once or twice a week, scheduled to suit your availability, either individually or in groups of up to six people (or smaller, if you prefer). Additionally, the contract allows you to cancel at any time with two weeks’ prior notice.
